2. Is this a good matcha to start with? Yes, this matcha is designed for beginners and daily use, and we recommend mixing it with milk for a smoother taste when starting out.

3. Will this matcha taste bitter? Yes, slightly. This is normal for real culinary matcha, and the bitterness becomes much softer when mixed with milk or sweeteners.

4. How do I prepare it? Add 1 scoop (1.5g) of matcha to 4–8 oz of water, froth with an electric frother until smooth, add milk or ice if you want, and enjoy.

5. Does this matcha contain caffeine? Is this good as a coffee replacement? Yes, matcha has natural caffeine from green tea and provides smooth, steady energy without the coffee crash. Yes, many people switch from coffee to matcha for calmer energy and better focus.

6. Can I drink it hot or cold? Can I use it for recipes or baking? Yes, it works well hot, iced, as a latte, in smoothies, and in mixed drinks. Also this matcha is great for smoothies, desserts, baking, and everyday recipes.

7. How many servings are in one tin? Does it come with a scoop? A 16 oz tin has about 300 servings depending on how strong you make it, with one scoop being one light serving. And yes, each tin includes a 1.5g measuring scoop for consistent servings. For the bags there is no scoop included, although we recommend the same portions (1.5g) which are equivalent to 1/2 tsp.

8. How should I store matcha? Store it sealed in a cool, dark place and enjoy within 1–2 months after opening for best flavor.

9. Is this matcha USDA-certified organic? This matcha is made from high-quality green tea leaves and processed for everyday use, but it is not marketed as USDA-certified organic.
